The Tudor Arms Hotel Cleveland - a DoubleTree by Hilton

Pros: The hotel was nicely kept up. The shuttle driver was awesome he was very helpful and considerate.

Cons: The man that was on the desk in the morning was miserable and seemed like he didn’t care we were there. It was very obvious that he had no interest in making us feel welcome at the hotel.

Outstanding

Pros: Its wasn't perfect, but that's to be expected for a Hotel that is 92 years old. The history and the all the antique features were what made this place so great. The staff was outstanding

Pros: The room we wound up in was very nice, very comfortable

Cons: First room we had , refrigerator didnt work, and although we had 2 TV's only one had a remote and was hooked up to service. Someone removed the cable from the tv to the wall Also first room the sofa was covered in stains Also I booked and paid for the room a week prior to arriving , only to find out they were all taken

Interesting, friendly and affordable hotel, convenient for concerts, museums, and medical centers

Pros: The room was very nice, and an excellent deal. The property is unique - a bit idiosyncratic - but fun. The staff were very pleasant - front desk, restaurant, housekeeping, shuttle driver. Self-parking is very close-by - a gated lot easily accessible from the front door. We found the hotel shuttle to be excellent for nearby events, tourist destinations, and medical facilities. The shower was nice but needed some mopping up afterwards. Excellent bath products in dispensers. Buffet breakfast was fantastic, and so was the dinner. The dinner menu is short, but well-prepared. We ate dinner in the bar, and it was very relaxed. The warm chocolate chip cookies offered to guests are awesome and addictive - beware.

Cons: The only real negatives were the slightly leaky shower glass and some difficulty finding plug-ins for all our devices, even with our own surge protector. Nothing that would prevent me from staying there again.

Pros: I love how close it is to my Dr and that I can walk or ride the shuttle there.

Cons: They have coated the bathtubs and it is peeling off in big pieces, the tub stopper did not work, and it looks like it needs new caulking.

Convenient location, but a little pricey.

Pros: Very convenient location, and it was very clean. Beds were comfy.

Cons: Did not love the price, I understand it's in UC and a lot of visitors come through while in Cleveland, but don't feel like the price reflects what you can get in comparison to other hotels.

Pros: Very old but updated. The staff was nice and quick to get to whatever we needed.

Highly recommend the hotel, their staff, and the location.

Pros: We had A very spacious room (tip: book the corner room!) Quiet, the University Circle location gave us great access to both our son’s home and all the places we wanted to visit.

Pros: I absolutely loved that you had handicapped accessible rooms. This is the first time I have seen them available to us.
