Great and looking to rebook for same week 2026
Pros: Room itself, service with a smile from particular concierge on arrival, breakfast was outstanding
Cons: window blinds - could not get to work at all so despite asking and knowing the dial/buttons I spent 4 days with closed blinds and wasn't able to have any natural light or fresh air.

If you are looking for lodging near the Museums or the University this place can't be beat.
Pros: A lovely small hotel in a great location. It's upscale in a classy way without the self important atmosphere.
Cons: Too bad the bar is closed on Sundays.

Romantic and lovely stay!
Pros: Glidden House is a cozy and nice property located in the campus area. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The breakfast is varied and yummy. We had a very pleasant stay. A special thank to James, who is the gem of the Glodden House. His advise on Clevelandโs points of interest made our stay! Thanks James!

Pros: All good: service, cleanliness, breakfast, proximity to art museum and places to walk.
Cons: Wifi was erratic, which made it a bit difficult at times to get work done. Never lasted more than an hour, though.

A fascinating lively historic hotel
Pros: The Glidden House is a fascinating historic hotel. Its exterior is so beautiful and attractive to me. I loved its dignified interior and classic furniture. The lobby and the halls were so clean and gorgeous, I think. The mini bar look so interesting and romantic, even though I didn't use it. The room was also wide enough and clean, beds are comfortable with special pillows, still, the sheet is not much soft. Nice amenity. It has three different types of dining room for breakfast, which is also a nice contrast. The breakfast had well diversity of bread, sausage, fruits, disserts, and drinks, which I liked. A staff kindly explained breakfast and its menu. The staff has real professionalism. The neighborhood is so safe and has a great Cleveland Museum of Art and other attractions and restaurants in a walking distance.
Cons: A sheet on a bed is not much soft, which is not a problem for my tight sleep. I appreciate the Hotel and the staff's friendly and devoted support.

Pros: Beautiful decor with a nod to keeping the vibe of the original home. Crown moldings, vintage furniture and a nostalgic feel. The hotel is right across from the Botanical Gardens, down the lane from the History museum and the Art museum.
