Red Roof Inn PLUS+ Columbus Downtown - Convention Center

Very good.

Pros: The staff was very nice. The hotel is very clean and central to many things. We went there because it was walking distance to the hockey arena.

Cons: The air exchanger plug in right beside the bed. It buzz all night long. But that not to much. Overall all was good.

Pros: The room is spacious, the bathroom is clean and works perfectly. Good value.

Cons: The furniture is a little out of fashion.

Pros: Convenient location if you'll attend an event in that area. I like the free coffee in the room and the vending machine to get water.

Cons: The room was certainly spacious but also kind of dated, especially those leather sofas. Curtains in my room didn't really cover windows entirely so I always had sunlights very early in the morning. I would have preferred if they told me at the check-in that cleaning was only upon request.

Pros: Loved how close it was to walk to Nationwide Arena. It was easy to leave the car parked and tour the city on foot. Neighborhood felt safe for our family..

Cons: We did not know we had to pay extra for parking. That was a surprise and maybe I just missed that somewhere in the fine print.

Cons: Mostly other guests and them being loud after 1am and the hall smelling like marijuana very strongly

Incredible staff, top-notch location, fantastic value for the price!

Pros: The staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond even on a day that I can only imagine was incredibly hectic, given the nature of the huge concert happening a block away. The hotel itself is within walking distance of both Nationwide Arena and a more than decent restaurant that serves as a great stopover on the way! I’ve never had a bad experience with Red Roof, but the room we stayed in at this one was as clean, spacious and comfortable as one could ask for for the price!

Cons: My only qualms are that the vending machine ate my cash and the elevator smelled a little bit.
