Kelleys Island Venture Resort

Great location and space on our first floor room, right next to pool, restaurant/bar close by.

Pros: Nice large two room suite with king bed. Did not use the pull out couch. Fridge was off, but worked. There was a microwave and coffee maker.

Cons: There was no fan in the bathroom. The coffee was pretty bad. Pillows were a little bit cheap feeling.

Pros: The staff was very attentive when cleaning the May flies from the area. (Although I was caught if a windstorm of them as the attendant blew them off the stairs as I walked to my car.) Not fun

Cons: The room did not include an iron and ironing board. We had to go to the desk for that. The door doesn't automatically lock when you leave the room. It was an entire day before I realized I had been leaving my room and belongings unsecure. The television was hard to operate well. One day it wouldn't turn on, the next day the volume would not work.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Will recommend to others to check it out!

Pros: Our suite was quite large, very clean and comfortable!

Cons: The people in suite above ours were quite noisy very late at night. When I finally contacted the office, the problem was taken care of quickly.

Pros: Always love staying there. It’s beautiful and clean. You just need staff.

Cons: I feel that you should have staff available at the front desk always We had to call several times to a phone number just left at the desk Every time we went into the office for something. We had to extend our stay because we got stuck on the island due to weather. Our keys deactivated and we could not get in our room and nobody was at the front desk. We were finally able to get ahold of someone and get into our room but for the kind of money we paid, you need to have staff.

Pros: We loved everything! Very clean & beds were very comfortable!

Cons: I wish they had golf cart & bike rentals at the resort, other than that everything was perfect!

The best of island life!

Pros: Loved location, the room was spacious, lots of counter space. The staff was very accommodating. We walked into town every night. So comfy.

Cons: There was nothing I did not like.

Mid-summer getaway.

Pros: The location is excellent and the grounds are gorgeous. Across the street on the waters edge is a multi-tier deck/chairs. Perfect for coffee in AM or a drink in PM.

Cons: That we didn’t stay longer.

Would stay again!

Pros: Beautiful resort. Secluded. Very clean. Comfortable and quiet. Front desk gentleman was nice and personable

Cons: Pool was not open when we returned from all day activities. That was a bummer
