Anchor Inn Boutique Hotel

Pros: Excellent location, welcoming staff. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

We loved our stay here and can only recommend it!

Pros: Both the Inn and the staff are lovely and we hope to be able to come back in the future! There were lots of personal touches while everything was also done in a highly professional manner (e.g. the turndown service), which made our stay so special! It was quiet at night, too, which was an especially nice contrast to the noisy parties downtown (right around the corner).

Cons: The only (!) thing that could have been better was the bed, which was very squeaky.

Would absolutely stay here again!

Pros: Breakfast was the icing on the cake. My husband ate his fair share! Thank you, Paul. I very much liked the king-sized beds and the attention to detail - turning on the lights and closing the blinds for us every night, was well received.

Friendly, relaxing and close to everything.

Pros: We loved the Anchor Inn. It was a perfect location for walking into town but far enough away that you didn’t get all the noise at night. We had a wonderful breakfast on the porch each morning and the staff was friendly and helpful. The small deck off of our room was great for sitting and reading and we loved our room. A comfortable bed awaited us each night and turn down service left us a little treat each night on the nightstand.

Cons: We loved everything about this place.

Pros: The location is wonderful! the room as beautiful, the breakfast delicious and the staff was friendly. The nicest place we have stayed at on the Island. It is a little pricey, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Pros: Friendly staff, excellent breakfast & overall ambiance of the venue.

Cons: The mattress springs were creeky. The uncomfortable mattress left me with sore spots in back and hips.

Pros: The room was beautiful, elegantly and comfortably appointed and very clean! Breakfast was delicious and the location was close to everything, but just far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. I loved my big private balcony!

Excellent Inn and walking distance too many attractions!

Pros: Along with being a wonderful owner, Paul served up excellent meals every morning! One morning I had the spinach quiche and it was fabulous. The third morning I had the maple biscuits and sausage gravy and that's not normally something that I will eat. However! I'm glad I ordered it-I don't regret it! They always put out wonderful selection of fresh fruits, fresh cheeses, even pate! I just can't say enough about our experience. I can't wait to return! I'm very high maintenance and my entire stay exceeded all expectations. Stunning home. Thank you for having us.
