Good choice for Portland

Pros: Very nice, small, non-chain motel on the northern outskirts of Portland, IN. We had an inside room which was very quiet. Good value. Beds were comfortable. Everything worked well, except the wifi. Could not get it going.

This was a place to sleep for us as we were traveling. It was nice and affordable!

Pros: The owners were so nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The area seemed safe with stores, restaurants and gas stations close to the property.

Cons: Nothing. Everything was good!

Pros: Room was big. Very clean. Bed was comfortable. Pillows were nice. Staff was great. Really needs updated, new mirrors, lamps,etc Not enough available plug in's for our phone chargers also had to move the coffee pot because the cord was too short to reach the outlet by the fridge. No actual chair to sit in except a straight back chair.

Cons: No actual chair or sofa to sit on, only straight back chairs. I do not like sitting on the bed ! No breakfast. I felt like the price was a little high for as dated as it was. Could use updating, however I would stay here again as it was very clean and beds were comfortable.

Very comfortable rooms

Pros: Don't let the older appearance of this hotel fool you - this place is very clean, well kept and super comfortable! The bed was so very comfortable and we appreciated the pillows being on the flat side instead of huge pillows like most hotels have. There was plenty of table space and a larger fridge than in most places. We had a lovely time there and would come back anytime!

Pros: It was nice and quiet! The bed was comfortable and the desk clerks which I believe maybe the owners were real nice and helpful. Definitely will return here again!!
