Americas Best Value Inn of Decatur

Pros: Front desk worker was very friendly and nice. She upgraded our rooms. And then she called when we got into our rooms to make sure everything was good in the room. The rooms were very nice and lots of space. The beds were very comfortable.

Two hours back to Lafayette on our way home would have been better.

Pros: We slept well, although the fitted sheet didn't fit very well. We had a better experience when we were there a year ago.

Cons: Coffee maker in the room was supplied with only 1 disposable coffee cup and 2 coffee pods (somewhat proprietary, not Keurig). That was for 2 of us, 3 nights. In contrast, our 1st night in Indiana we stayed in Lafayette, paid a few dollars less, had more space, cleaner, choice of soft or firmer pillows, and free breakfast with great coffee and refills.

Very Comfortable

Pros: The owner was very nice and offered us a king-sized bed upon check-in. The room was a nice size and was clean and quiet.

Cons: It's an older building, but it is reasonably priced.

Clean, comfortable and pleasant

Pros: Very nice staff. Clean, comfortable room. Easy check in. Highly recommend.

Cons: The workers next door had someone pull up outside and honk at 6 am. Not the hotel’s fault.

Pros: Excellent value for a couple of nights in Decatur IN. Fairly comfortable facilities and a very clean room and bathroom. Will return.

Cons: Not much here

Pros: Room was ready and they allowed us to check in an hour early. King bed available. Free upgrade from queen. Basic room with everything we needed and more.

Cons: Wish we'd gone to America's Best sooner and saved money over the other hotel 30 miles away!

Excellent Value

Pros: Very nice, clean room, pillow top beds, and we had a handicap accessible room. There was a bigger fridge, one with microwave and coffee maker. I didn't bring my stool for getting in high top bed. We asked management if they had something. One of the workers brought me a stepping stool, and asked if that would work. Also, it was only $69 total for the room. Also there was coffee in lobby.

Cons: Could have been a light breakfast with boiled eggs, yogurt, and waffles, but there was a very nice breakfast place next to motel.

Not perfect but would stay again

Pros: Beds very comfortable. TV great variety of channels.

Cons: Very little interaction with staff. No info in room about the facility, i.e., could find an ice machine.if there was one. Pillows were so so. No coffee with maker in room. Could have had a binder with local info. Lack off available electrical outlets. 1st motel that I've stayed at without outlets next to beds.

Pros: Staff was great and room was comfortable it had a great choice of tv channels. Great location and room even had a recliner chair. I've stayed at a few Americas Best Value Inns and this one was by far one of the nicest.

Very clean, comfortable and convenient.

Pros: We were only in town for one night. Very close and convenient to what we were there for. Room was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Cons: We arrived before noon and would’ve liked to check in early - not even to access the room but only to get a key because we knew we would be busy until sometime that evening. Early check in fee is $30. We were not even going to put our bags in the room at that time, so we opted not to pay the fee. Not a big deal.
