Doubletree By Hilton Youngstown Downtown

I came into town for a graduation and the hotel was a block away which was very convenient.

Pros: I particularly liked the architecture of the hotel.

Cons: I did not like that you cannot get an Uber at the hotel, the coffee was not good and the ladies at the front desk did not have much of a welcoming personality.

Very pleasurable, would definitely stay there again

Family is always worth getting to where they are.

Pros: This was my first Doubletree stay. If breakfast was included in the room price, I did not know, and did not ask. The restaurant on the first floor of the property was excellent for dinner. The lobby of the property was on the second floor. There were 2 multistory bank buildings. No other downtown businesses except Youngstown State University. It was on winter break. It appears to be the primary business activity in the rust belt-type city.

Cons: Hallway carpeting is unattractive in daylight, and hideous at night. It appears threadbare. I was traveling to be with family, so seeing them made the hotel of little importance compared to the wonderfulness they exuded.

Lovely spot for a quiet comfortable stay

Pros: Beautiful classic building. Loved how they preserved the architectual detail like windows and staircases and just added modern touches. lovely holiday decor . very clean and central location. Friendly check in people too.

Best hotel in Youngstown!

Pros: We only spent one day in this beautiful hotel, so not much to say but the facilities were amazing! Very sexy and classy. Our room, I just can't say enough about it. We were in the 2 queen suite. The tall ceilings, the huge windows, the natural sunlight, the room....just amazing.

Cons: Nothing to report that we did not like.

Pros: Everything was very clean. The atmosphere is great, and it is definitely a nicer hotel. All of the staff we interacted with were amazing, friendly, and went out of their way. It is a short walk to the Covelli Centre so it's nice for events. There's not a whole lot to do in the area but I can see this being a nice couples' retreat.

Cons: The location is a little awkward, though I guess that comes with being in a city. With this, parking can be a nightmare, especially if you are here during an event - we struggled to find a spot when we came back at night. I wish the full service restaurant on the bottom floor had longer breakfast hours, but otherwise I have no complaints.

Pros: Location. Cleanliness of the room (and hotel). Comfortable bed.

Pros: Clean, comfortable rooms. In general, like the atmosphere of the hotel in a historic building .

Cons: The hotel bar on the second floor was closed on Wednesday evening (8:30pm) March 19th.
