Great location and helpful staff

Pros: Location was perfect for us. It was a 35mins walk along a great river pathway to Ohio State University. We didn’t have a car but the no1 bus stopped right in front of the hotel which went right downtown (need a Cota card or $1 bills). Lots of great restaurants close walk. We liked a bakery called “Tous Les Jours” and the Chinese restaurant in the nearby “The City” apartment complex. The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. The beds were excellent. The breakfast was better than expected The kitchen was handy and equipped well enough to cook a simple meal. Large fridge. The washing machine/dryers were complimentary but it’s BYO detergent Was very happy with our 2 week stay

Cons: Found the aircon a bit louder than expected

What's with the parking???

Pros: After our first 3 nights I would have very easily have rated everything perfect. Then the strange parking problem (see \

Cons: On our 4th night at the hotel (of 7 nights) we came back for the evening to find more than half of the parking spots roped off and every available parking space filled. After sitting in shock for a few minutes about the strange situation, a miracle occurred - someone left their parking spot and we took it. For the remainder of our stay there was always some parking spots roped off and we seemed to find one of the few available parking spots. Note also that there were generally not available parking spots in the neighborhood around the hotel. You really want to park in the hotel lot.

Pros: Breakfast was good, clean pool and rooms. Over a wonderful place to stay and feel like home

Peaceful and comfortable

Pros: The room was very clean except for around the front of the toilet it wasn't that clean. The bed was very comfortable. Loved the apartment like setup. Refrigerator, kitchen, dishwasher, and it came equipped with pots, pans, and dishes. You literally didn't need anything. The Dove soap, body wash, shampoo and lotion. My stay was pleasant and peaceful.

Cons: Other than the toilet not being as clean as it looked, nothing was.wrong

We will come back again

Pros: The breakfast is good enough, a lot of choices. The most I like is very clean and quiet. Close to OSU, we are very satisfied.

Cons: Room 202 needs a deep clean. That other Dog Owners didn't clean up after their dog in parking lot. This is Not Hotel Responsibility.

The staff is very nice and accommodating

Pros: It’s located in a great place, close to the freeway and food spots up/down the street

Cons: The parking is horrible! The lots are small and VERY tight. AND, they charge you to $20 a day when you park on their lot

All was well with our personal experience.

Pros: Location was perfect for going to our daughter’s medical appointment at OSU

Cons: When we came out to our car, the car beside ours had been broken into. Concerned that the location might not be as safe as we’ve thought in past stays.
