Hotel Celare

Decent hotel with good midtown location, priced better than most nearby.

Pros: Spotless room, good size, comfortable bed, good location. On-site restaurant. Free coffee on weekend. Good free wifi. Loved the closet--hangers, drawers, a light that went on when you opened the doors, and a place to put the suitcase!

Cons: The decor in some ways seemed more focused on looks/design than comfort; the desk chair, for example, was wide enough for 1.5 people, and the armchair could have been more comfortable. The breakfast buffet was pricy for pretty basic hot food offerings and not a speck of fruit. Were pleased to find free morning coffee on offer our first night--and then disappointed to learn it was a weekend-only perk, which the staff hadn't made clear to us the previous morning.

Pros: The hotel is brand new and clean with a lot of beartuful community service. All the staff are very nice and considerate. They took good care of my musical instrument and helped me a lot. This is a perfect place to stay and it’s so close to UC.

Great stay- highly recommend for UC visitors

Pros: It was very clean, modern. The shower was amazing- especially the Molten Brown products! The onsite restaurant was very good as well. Location was right across from UC and parking was available.

Cons: Nothing to complain about

A wonderful place to get away with excellent staff.

Pros: The design, the location, and just the overall vibe of the hotel.

Cons: No shelves inside the shower to set your items down on.

Pros: The breakfast was excellent! One of the best ones we've had in a very long time. We looked forward to it for all days of our stay.

Cons: I thought the staff in general was a little...high nosed (sorry I didn't know any other way to put it). Celina Smith at the breakfast was the standout staff member though. She was the most amazing host and treated us like friends. My wife was super happy with the warmth we were given by Celina.

I’ll definitely be back, but will park on the street instead.

Pros: If you’re headed to campus or wanting to partake in the campus life, this is an excellent location.

Cons: The parking garage that’s attached is only for valet and the one that’s recommended assigns a parking space which is problematic if you have an oversized car or in my case has to park next to one on your passenger side and the cement pillars on the other..

Pros: Location location location! Restaurant is good! Room is clean, quiet and comfortable! Front desk staff upon check in was amazing! Used valet parking and all the folks were friendly and efficient!

Cons: Front desk staff upon check out not so personable.

Pros: Hotel smell really good and check out was noon. Staff were extremely professional and friendly.

Cons: Paying for parking when there was an empty parking hot lot across the street. Hotel wanted us to use valet.

Pros: Beautiful and clean rooms! Great facilities. The staff was all friendly and helpful.

Cons: The parking situation could be better. The only choices were paying for valet parking or finding a paid parking lot near by. Wish that had been more clear before.

Cons: I wish some continental breakfast & coffee option was available.
