Calm and welcoming.

Pros: Beautiful location right on the river. Didn’t hear the traffic from the highway it was nice a quiet. I was greeted very warmly and given a parking spot right in front of my door so I could keep an eye on my car.

Perfect base for our day trips around the area.

Pros: Clean, Comfortable Beds. Nice informative staff. We only slept there two nights while we toured the surrounding counties during the day.

We like the peacefulness of the night here!!

Pros: This hotel was quiet, located on the river, was peaceful watching the river on the little bench by the river. The room was a basic king size bed and fridge with freezer, microwave and TV. It was just simple and what we needed for the night. There was no breakfast included...that didn't bother us.

Cheap and worth the money!

Pros: I love that it's all on the bottom floor. For someone who is disabled it worked perfectly and it's the only motel I've seen that has a smoking room!

Great, old school, motel property!

Pros: The owner held my room, I did not get there until 3am. I really appreciated it!! I stay here every year on my trip from Georgia to Cleveland, great old school, park at your door style motel. Clean and very well managed.

Clean and accommodating...

Pros: Both check-in and check-out staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and met our needs. The view of the Kanawha River was a nice perk. We would stay again when we are in the area.
