Hampton Inn Charleston Downtown

Pros: Great location near restaurants, but one-way streets make navigation a bit challenging! Comfortable room, efficient front-desk staff.

Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions for places to eat. Checking in/out was smooth. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice assotment for hot and cold breakfast foods. We also enjoyed the pool. Location was within walking distance to restaurants and the Capitol.

Cons: The ice machine on our floor was not working.

Comfortable rest in the middle of a 16-hour car ride.

Pros: Location is pretty central in Charleston WV. Breakfast was the classic hotel breakfast, so it met my expectations. The room was clean and tidy, which I greatly appreciated after a long drive. I only had to stay one night to rest on my way to Richmond, so my expectations could be different from the typical guest here. However, for what I needed the hotel met all my expectations.

Cons: It was slightly pricy in my opinion but the service was good enough to make me feel like I did not waste money staying here. I guess the room lighting could have been slighly better, as the room felt a bit dark with the lighting that was already there.

Pros: The employee whose name is Rebecca was amazing! Will stay here again because of her!! Loved the late checkout also

Pros: We always enjoy our stay here. It's conveniently located near the civic center, which is one of the main reasons we stay at this location. The staff are always courteous upon arrival and make you feel like family.

Cons: Came back from the show that evening and all the cookies were gone.... this is an added bonus this facility offers. I've never seen it anywhere else we've stayed. It's a complimentary bonus to the evenings when you pass the main check in.

Pros: Great location, friendly staff, good layout of room, very comfortable.

Pros: Ur staff was amazing especially Sabrina (the teenage witch) she will understand

Cons: The pool was dirty and I didn't like how the door doesn't shut on its own.

Great location for travel to nearby airport

Pros: Nice room, we were assigned the handicap room I think because it was available for our early arrival. Good shower pressure, clean room, comfy bed. Staff were very helpful. Location was good for quick access to the Charleston International Yeager Airport that we needed to drive to in the AM to get to our flights.

Cons: The staff scheduled us in a room as per my requests, BUT the location of the hotel itself was right next to main highway interchanges, so there was a LOT of traffic & truck gearing down & up throughout the day & night. The window shade/curtain was not functioning, so we we were not able to open it to allow in natural light from outside the room

This place is great, just book it.

Pros: This is one the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in.And the staff is very friendly.

Cons: Nothing its great.
