Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Sutton Flatwoods

Pros: We liked the fact that the room had a balcony and the view of the mountains from the balcony.

Cons: From the photos we expected a hot tub with an indoor pool. But the hot tub closed and indoor pool is not deep enough

Pros: We are currently on a road trip. This one of the best Days Inn's we have stayed in. The location overlooking and in the mountains was lovely. Our room was clean and a nice size. The breakfast was good even though I only have cereal, my husband enjoyed the cooked breakfast. Not least all the staff were excellent, including the gentleman who came and fixed the television in our room. It was also nice having a restaurant on site.

Cons: There was nothing to dislike

No restaurant

Pros: Everything was fine for our needs except that the restaurant was closed.

Cons: Reception staff rather rude on arrival. We had booked hotel because it had a restaurant and although it was still being advertised in the lobby as “open tonight” when we asked about having a meal he said it was not open because they hadn’t any staff. We were very disappointed that we were not informed earlier and that he offered no apology for this and seemed surprised that we had expected to eat there!

Pros: So happy we found this place! There are not a lot of great choices along this stretch of highway. Believe me... we have tried a few! We will be coming back again!

Always a comfy stay!!

Pros: Always clean and well kept, friendly, good breakfast, great location. We have been going to this Days Inn in Flatwoods annually since 1990!

Cons: Bathrooms although very very clean, need an upgrade.

Pros: We always stay at this place on our way back home. It's clean, convenient and everyone is very helpful.

Comfortable spot with friendly staff. Good proximity to food and amenities.

Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and a good value. Breakfast was ok, I enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. Restaurant/lounge was nice too, when it was open. Property did well to keep up with the winter weather and the parking was plowed and salted fairly quickly when a winter storm moved in. Staff was able to point me in the right direction to find the local liquor store (located inside the Exxon) which made the winter snow storm easier to endure.

Cons: There was a mismatch between what I paid for on Booking.com and what was actually available at the property. One of the towers was closed for the winter, which is where the room I purchased was located. There was some initial hesitation to provide a comparable room, but another staff member immediately intervened and ensured I got a relatively comparable room which I was happy with. Cons: the bathroom toilet was for a 3-year-old. it sets so low it is very hard to get backup. and an updated hair dryer would be great.
