Spruce Hill Inn & Cottages

This was a great place for my now fiancé to propose!

Pros: It was very beautiful, clean and quiet. It was definitely one of the nicest places i’ve stayed. The staff i talked to was super friendly and helpful.

Cons: It was a little hard to find the cottage but we just called the receptionist and she helped us out and was very kind.

Would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend

Pros: It had everything I needed. Set up was very nice inside. Liked having the small pond out front and sitting on the porch drinking coffee in the morning. It was so peaceful!!!

Pros: The cottage was beautiful, clean, and quiet. We were left alone and didn't even see other people, wich is what we wanted. There was a fire pit outside and a nice deck off the living room area. The staff only interaction was when they asked if we needed towels, tp,or trash removal, and when we asked where we could order something to eat. We never want to leave.

Cons: Absolutely nothing

Perfect spot to stay while visiting the city.

Pros: Very cozy cottage. After the first night I noticed the turtle pond. I purchased some turtle food and they would just about eat out of your hands.

An absolutely magical, unexpected retreat- like stay. My dog also loved it.

Pros: This was one of the most beautiful hotel/cottage stays I've ever had. It was gorgeous, quiet, comfortable. Way more retreat like than I was expecting.

Cons: I loved it all.

I think this was a wonderful place to stay for several different reasons!

Pros: The location was great, I loved how it was up on a mountain and next to the ski resort that we actually didn't know existed until we went to the cottage for the first time. We loved how secluded and private it was, we did happen to speak to some of our neighbors and they were so nice. The check-in process was so simple, all I had to do was call and get the cottage number. The cottage was so cute the way it was decorated. The spa bath worked great and was nice after a long day of traveling and walking. The pond in front of the cottages is the home for lots of turtles and fish, and has a fire pit and plenty of seating around the pond for relaxing outside. It's honestly perfect for families and couples. I plan to come back again with my kids next time!

Cons: The only thing I think could be an improvement is letting people know that you can rent cottages with outside patios on them. We noticed the one next door had one, but we did not which was completely fine because we're easy going but it would have been nice to have known it was an option we had, permitting there's a cottage with a patio available.

Pros: I loved how it was in its own little area. I loved how comfortable it made me feel. It’s just beautiful inside and out.

Cons: The only thing I didn’t like was that it was either freezing and hot. There wasn’t really a in between. I also wasn’t able to use the jets in the jacuzzi because there was so much buildup in them that every-time I turned them on stuff would come out.
