The Hemlock Inn

Happy to visit again!

Pros: The host was very welcoming and accommodating. Will visit next year to see the room renovations!

Cons: Breakfast was not a typical continental breakfast but was informed there is a food license in the works, so this could have been due to that. However, this won’t stop us from staying each year for our visit. Next door is a fabulous market to purchase baked goods and breakfast (just not open on Sundays).

The value to price ratio is very good!

Pros: The new owner is working every day to improve his property. It is the old style drive up to your door motel. The breakfast is simple but good enough to start the day. The owner started a roaring fire which we enjoyed during a mild November evening.

Quaint, rustic, wonderful stay!

Pros: We were met by the Inn Manager upon arrival who was very cheery and kind. He urged us to take full advantage of the amenities including a fire pit near the lobby, as well as free wifi and free breakfast. Our expectations were already exceeded at this point as we didn't think there would be free wifi or breakfast available at this location. The Inn is located next to a wonderful Amish market so a homemade lunch is just a few quick steps away. We already look forward to coming back to the area and visiting all of the fun attractions near the Inn including the world's largest cuckoo clock less than an hour away!

Cons: The Inn Manager notified us that there were currently renovations taking place at the location, so we were able to manage our expectations. However, there were no noises or visible signs of construction going on while we were there, so we didn't even notice. There aren't black out shades on the windows so I suggest bringing an eye mask or using one of the extra blankets to hang over the window to provide a bit more darkness overnight. There wasn't a hair dryer in the room, so I was glad I packed mine just in case as we were heading to a wedding nearby. The renovations looked beautiful and I can't wait to see how the Inn looks once the changes are complete!

Pros: The location was perfect. We were right down the road from Mohican and close to some other areas we wanted to check out.

Cons: Nothing.

I have stayed there before and I always enjoy my stay and talking to the owners.

Pros: The comfort of the hotel and the location were perfect.

Cons: There was nothing I didn't like.

Very pretty hotel, food and shopping nearby, across from the canoe and putter golf

Pros: The owners are working to make fun changes and are so very nice and friendly. The mattress and bedding was the best we ever found in a hotel, cruise or anywhere!

Cons: For the time of our stay, we didn't need anything more.

Pros: The folks who own the Hemlock Inn are absolutely wonderful. Price was very fair, location is great, and the cleanliness of the room was perfect.

Cons: Although they said they were remodeling, we didn't notice any signs or sounds of it.

This was a wonderful getaway.

Pros: The location was perfect. It wasnt too far from town or the destination I had to go to. And it was easy to find when driving both in the day and at night.

Cons: If anything, room 3's first bed is a little firm and uncomfortable, but other than that I dont think there was anything else that I disliked.

Can't wait to come back!

Pros: The gentleman at the front desk was extremely nice and very helpful. I'm excited to come back when the renovations are complete. So far, the work they've done is adorable! The convenient location was perfect for what we came to do.

Cons: The beds could definitely use an upgrade but I'm sure that's on the list of things to get done.

Pros: It was super cute and right down the road from Mohican State Park. The staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again!
