Residence Inn by Marriott Cleveland Avon at The Emerald Event Center

Overall, pretty satisfied with the visit.

Pros: Breakfast was decent. B'fast sandwich was a little weak in quality. Muffins, OJ, Coffee were all good.

Cons: Room carpet seemed less than clean. Appeared to have some sort of black substance on it which followed us around to the hard floor, both in the bathroom and kitchen, a little.

Pros: Clean and reasonably comfortable. Good breakfast. No creepy guys hanging around- as i’ve experienced in other locations

Cons: A bit noisy from other rooms, especially above

Pros: Beautiful property, gorgeous room. Perfect for personal or business travel. I highly recommend

We always love staying at a Residence Inn by Marriott

Pros: We had the 2-bedroom king suite, and it was a great space. My husband and I had our own bathroom off the master king bedroom. Our three boys had their own bathroom. Two boys slept in the other bedroom in a queen bed and one slept on the pullout couch. Having a full kitchen and table and chairs was a bonus also. We would definitely stay here again.

Cons: Really things were very good, we just ran into a few small things- the AC wasn't working very well, it was 72 in the room; we turned it down to 66 and it didn't cool off for several hours. The pull-out couch didn't have a mattress pad but there were extra sheets and blankets. Breakfast seemed very early so we did not get to eat breakfast. We also arrived very late at nigth and let the kids sleep in a little.

Comfortable stay, but some faulty amenities

Pros: I loved the room, the bed was very comfortable and the full kitchen was very convenient. It was like being home away from home

Cons: I didn't like the shower setup. There was only one bathroom for 3 people, and the shower was contained with only one pane of see-through glass. The glass should have at least been frosted to offer some privacy in case someone else had to use the facilities, also only one pane, so the water sprayed all over the bathroom through the opening since it couldn't be closed all the way. I was also not happy that the spa/hot tub was closed all weekend. Also, the elevator stopped working in the early morning on Saturday during the breakfast rush. It took them half the day to fix it, but many people weren't happy.

Pros: There was a good variety. I particularly appreciated the scrambled eggs, as well as the yogurts and fresh fruit.

Cons: Nothing comes to mind

Pros: Room size Our first room was too hot, a/c was out. They quickly gave us another room that was identical to first one Their breakfast was great and staff were excellent

Cons: Didn't get clean towels

Pros: I literally liked everything about the hotel. No complaints whatsoever. Can't wait to come back.

Pros: Competent staff. Excellent breakfast. Clean. Suite was well equipped for a longer stay.
