Mario's International Spa

A great trip for a relaxing evening.

Pros: The down feather pillows were amazing 🤩 I have not had such soft pillows, since I was a young girl staying at my grandfathers house. The spa and the experience was pretty great. Will definitely come back for another visit.

Cons: Was not anything bad about our experience. It was a very nice stay and a cozy room for the evening. Will be making our way back again soon.

Restful and relaxing as a stay away from home can be!

Pros: Come here to relax. Beds were most comfortable we've ever had for some reason. Coffee is available downstairs and you need to wait for it. Chat with friendly staff while they make it. They also bring it up for you. Tub had jets and could also b used as shower. We loved that the staff here maintains this property dating back to the 1840's. We want to come back to enjoy the spa downstairs and restaurant/bar. With only 14 rooms the staff spent time helping us out way more than any other hotel stay I've had. We appreciated the effort that went in to capturing the feel of the Victorian Era in this place.

Cons: Other folks may not like the dated construction, lack of elevator to get past one flight of stairs, no in room refrigerator or microwave. Shut off the TV. This place is about being transported to an earlier more relaxing time of history. Antique chairs tables dressers adorn the room and every facet of the property. We heard footsteps from room above and tub noise next door...but not at night so we slept well. The bar area and dining room are elegant Victorian with fireplaces, but they don't serve up a breakfast. Lunch and dinner we were out and about so we missed using this wonderful atmosphere for a meal. Wheel chair access is not available from what we could see. Hand rails were adequate for my wife to ambulate up and down the partial flight of stairs to access room.

Pros: The hotel is such a hidden gem, everything was connected on the inside so you didn’t need to walk outside, but everything was still spaced out enough to walk through the restaurant to the spa, which helped since it was cold as ever.

Cons: When we’re booking a massage for the spa, it wasn’t explained once we confirmed the booking for the room and spa that we needed to arrive by a certain time because the spa closes. We made it just in time for my moms to make it to her birthday massage but was unaware we needed to hurry to the jacuzzi spa ourselves. We missed out on the jacuzzi spa experience but we will be better prepared whenever we return

Quiet, clean, and comfortable stay with great staff.

Pros: Location was great for the event I was attending nearby. A quick 5 min drive. The town had everything one needs on the road, including EV charging nearby. The hotel itself was a bit dated inside but quiet, clean, and comfortable. Staff was helpful and very friendly.

Pros: The decor was quirky but we found that fun. The room was very clean, but a little dated (which is fine). The shower was good and beds were very comfy. Close to the wineries and Chagrin Falls.

We enjoyed our stay at Mario’s and hope to return sometime. It is a wonderful “get-away” experience.

Pros: The inn is historic and very charming. Great for those who appreciate the atmosphere of a “non-chain” hotel. I found all staff to be very friendly and helpful. The only point of improvement I would suggest is better lighting for the outdoor walkway and parking. I felt quite un-easy walking to and from the entrance in such dim lighting.

Lovely decor and grounds. Our beds were very comfortable and the jetted tub was a treat!

Pros: All staff, from the lovely people at the desk to the chefs and waitresses were professional and friendly. They provided excellent service.

Pros: I loved how secluded the hotel was. I loved our room, loved the spa robes and the technicians at the spa were very professional and friendly.

Pros: Meals at the Cabin were exceptionally tasty! Our room was warm and comfortable, many amenities , many places for quiet reflection within the resort and exceptionally friendly staff members! They made our stay one to remember!

Cons: There were no disappointments! Our spa experiences, our meals at The Cabin, and our accommodations at the resort were all amazing!!
