Sawmill Creek by Cedar Point Resorts

Sawmill Creek provided the best base for a thoroughly enjoyable stay in Sandusky.

Pros: This property has been newly renovated and was really lovely and spacious. Very clean throughout and the staff were all very friendly and made us feel welcome. Stephanie, Emily and Marcia on reception were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Dotty, Leza and Dolly in the breakfast restaurant were very helpful with their knowledge of the area and made our stay that much more special. Thank you to all at Sawmill who went out of their way to help us enjoy our trip.

Amazing

Pros: The place was very clean, the hotel employees were wow, the pool was perfect, after 200 hotels I've been to, I think this is among the 10 best hotels I've met in my entire life, I'll definitely go back there

I had breakfast 3 straight days and had the best service every day. Service was always top notch

Pros: Great experience. What a gem! Staff was unbelievably nice. So many things to do. Resturanta were great. Only drawback room could stand be a tad bigger

Most enjoyable Cedar Point stay

Pros: Great location for Cedar Point. Lovely peaceful country club setting. Excellent amenities including indoor and outdoor pool and spa...inviting pub style resto with good choice of food and drinks. Excellent buffet breakfast. On the whole the staff were friendly and efficient....special mention for Kora in bar who worked extremely hard to keep us fed and watered!

Cons: Check in assistant could have been more welcoming friendly and efficient ....First impressions count!

Lovely resort

Pros: Staff were very friendly enjoyed our room and would like to have stayed longer. Chloè and Austin were great assets to this hotel.

Cons: We were furthest point to the lobby so it was a trek but we got our steps in :)

Relaxing

Pros: Had breakfast at the buffet in the hotel and it was great! Staff in the restaurant were amazing! Very accommodating.

Cons: Nothing. We enjoyed our stay.

Pros: Extremely clean and well used space in the rooms. Lobby was inviting and market was great for coffee. Best hotel gym I have ever been in!

Cons: Wished the market stayed open until 10pm instead of 9pm.

Pros: It was really done up in Christmas decorations and lightings. It felt extremely cozy and comfortable there. Had to be one of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed in over the years.

Pros: We stopped here for 5 nights in the middle of a road trip, it was a lovely break, nice to lie by the pool, great golf course, nice restaurant. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

Cons: The air-con was a bit difficult to control but otherwise I can’t think of anything.
