Bay Lodging Resort

Convenient location on a quiet street.

Pros: Walkable to grocery store and restaurants, had golf carts for rent on site. Stayed in a room with 3 double beds at a reasonable rate. Nice pool facilities, friendly staff.

Cons: Continental breakfast was pretty limited and they had no tea bags, only coffee and juice. Staff response to complaint about needed maintenance on the seat belts on the golf cart was not proactive. Just a shrug, \

We enjoyed our stay and the staff went our of their way to make our stay lovely.

Pros: We arrived early but were checked in right away. Staff person on duty in the office was friendly and informative. Room was clean and ready for occupancy.

Cons: We were on the second floor. The stairs were outside and very steep. It mad it difficult to carry our luggage up the stairs. We are all over 70 years of age and in good shape and were able to get our luggage up and down but it was a steep climb.

It was great!

Pros: The staff was so helpful and friendly. Always live the pool bar.

Cons: The hot tub had way too many chemicals. Couldn’t even use it. Eyes and throat burned just sitting in the edge for a minute.

Pros: Missed the last ferry and had to find something last min and WITH MY DOG, they had no issue and they showed her love when we got there. The guy at the desk working the grave yard shift was super cool and welcoming.

Cons: The breakfast, cereal and milk. For kids sure that's perfect but I suggest always leaving the waffle maker on to leave that option for adults.

Pros: Staff was amazing! It was raining a little and they offered us golf cart towels so we could dry off the seats and help keep us dry. We took them back and she gave us more dry ones, it made the trip perfect since it was raining nearly all day. Property was clean and well maintained and the golf cart rental onsite was great!

This was a perfect place for a quick and simple getaway with my kids!

Pros: Breakfast was perfect to grab and go. Great location and value, and renting the golf cart from this same location was reasonably priced and we could add on a few extra hours our second day. Do plan to get a taxi to and from the ferry! The on site pool was a nice place to chill out.

Cons: There was some occasional noise both at the pool and in the hallways, but that's expected in a party town!

Overall an enjoyable return to the island this trip.

Pros: The pool and onsite bar were convenient and great to have. Walkability to town was a plus.

Cons: When we checked in we discovered that our toilet didn't work. We were moved immediately to another room, so that was good. However, we were wondering what would have happened if the hotel had been fully booked... what would they have done? Also, we were very unhappy about the lack of parking in town. I'm sure we aren't the only visitors to the island who are complaining about that. I understand the reasoning behind changing the parking especially in front of The Beer Barrel and other bars on main strip but it is so expensive to rent golf carts and yet it forces people to do that so that they can park.

Pros: The location was good, walkable to town and a short drive to the airport and ferry boats. Jackie, who managed the front desk, was very friendly.

Cons: no microwave.

Pros: Jackie was a great person..she was a great person and staff member..

Pros: The staff were accommodating and very friendly. The pool was small but the atmosphere was such my kids could swim there - unlike other pools at the other hotels

Cons: It was dated and needed some upgrades. There was a leak under our sink and the hair dryer didn’t work. I asked for a replacement but did not receive one.
