Perfect romantic getaway

Beautiful peaceful setting.

Pros: Good food and drinks at the Cooper Mug restaurant. Beautiful setting and views all over the property

Overall we loved our experience at Landfill’s castle.

Pros: The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I loved all the different outside seating areas and the gas fireplaces. The pool, hot tub and sauna were in excellent condition with pool towels readily available. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and nice blankets. The bathrooms were oversized and included bathrobes. The doors, lighted pathways, castle tower climb and balconies were all a delight.

Cons: The restaurant had beautiful outdoor and indoor seating but the food was just ok. No complimentary breakfast as it is only offered in the restaurant. Next time I would just pack breakfast foods and eat in the room or at one of the many outside table and chairs.

Nice, unique and perfect for a surprise stay.

Pros: Unique stay. Surprised spouse. She really enjoyed it.

Cons: Entry stairs to suite were super hot. Hot tub was now working on swimming area.

Romantic getaway perfect for celebrating a special occasion

Pros: Beautiful facility! We particularly enjoyed the gaming room in the pool hall in addition to our room. Warm staff. I loved the variety of pillow types on the bed too.

Cons: Overall, it was a fantastic experience. However, I wish there had been real half and half included with the coffee service in our room.

Too expensive! Won’t pay that again

Pros: I expected to see more of the castle on the inside and to be able to walk around and see more of the area! It was all sloped so not able to walk around so much

Pros: The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The room was like new and comfortable.

Cons: I misunderstood thinking I actually booked my room in the castle but was in the Stable - very nice and clean but atmosphere was different- again this may have been my misunderstanding,

the best accidental find ever, was originally booking a motel room to do a canoe trip nearby but...

Pros: everything the pool was amazing with a swim in cave. the onsite restaurant was amazing also the entire property felt like you were spending time with your rich friends. I cant wait to plan my next visit

Cons: having to leave was the worst part. not having enough time to explore the castle and property better cause we only stayed 2 days. not getting to spend more time with our awesome neighbors from the suite beside us

Pros: Beautiful! All of the rooms were booked but we felt like we had a private castle to ourselves. It is very quiet and relaxing. The sound of the waterfall was calming. We had a wonderful experience!
