Great one night stay to attend the Ark Encounter!!

Pros: The staff was fabulous, very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious. We stayed here to attend the Ark Encounter the next day. We had a view of the ark and were able to walk from the hotel parking lot to the Ark entrance and not pay for parking at the Ark. We were also able to do a load of laundry at the hotel.

Cons: Nothing we can think of at the moment.

Pros: Very clean and comfortable room, great breakfast. Great location, very close to Ark Encounter

Met Expectations

Pros: The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. Overall the hotel itself was nice and clean.

Cons: The $5 parking fee. This was an unepcextednfee I encountered upon check in that should have been wrapped into the total of the stay. Also, you should not have to pay for parking when you’re staying there. That’s ridiculous.

Pros: The location was perfect for visiting the Ark Encounter. The choices at breakfast were plentiful and I love making a fresh waffle for breakfast.

Overall excellent experience.

Pros: We encountered only one minor problem. We needed to cancel the 2nd night of our stay due to unforseen circumstances. Hotel staff said we needed to go through booking.com. Contacted Booking.com. Booking.com was supposed send an e-mail to the property cancelling the 2nd night. When I checked the next morning upon checkout, a different hotel staffer said it was unnecessary and took care of it right at the desk.

Cons: The lack of understanding on how to alter the reservation by both Booking.com and hotel staff.

Pros: The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was delicious!!! The staff was very helpful ad the beds were very comfortable. If you are traveling to the ark encounter I would recommend staying here because you are in walking distance.

Cons: If the area the hotel was located in had more restaurants we had to drive to the next town which was not that far away for dinner. Other then that there was nothing that I did not like about my stay.

It ended up being one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in.

Pros: nice big rooms. Great breakfast. rooms were clean. The staff was very helpful.

Cons: I had to call 3 times to get my rooms on the same floor and next to each other.

You're Practically on the Ark!

Pros: All that is needed is access via the fence to the Ark Encounter, if the Ark Encounter people allowed it. It's that close. Location says it all. Staff were very helpful. No shampoo or conditioner in the room, but when notified they brought some up ASAP. Breakfast was varied and suitable to for diets. Kids were easily accommodated here. Even though there were LOTS of kids here, they could not be heard in the rooms. Very good insulation, apparently.

Cons: Even though it's a new hotel and clean for the most part, we had some soap stains in the shower, etc. and lack of supplies leads me to believe that cleaning was hurried. But there are a ton of people who come through this hotel, so I imagine that turnover of rooms is fast.

Pros: I loved when we walked in the tv welcomed us. That was a sweet touch. And the free breakfast for our family is always a huge bonus. The elevator was very speedy which is awesome. And the room was spacious and well laid out.

Cons: Not that we didnt like it but the pool was a touch chilly but not bad. So we still swam.

Pros: Breakfast was OK. Location next to the Ark was super.

Cons: There was only 1 restaurant nearby. Although that is not your fault.
