Motel 6-Springfield

Good price for simple, clean accommodations

Pros: Easy stop for an overnight. Ample parking, close to walk to Cracker Barrel or Bob Evans for a meal. Just off the interstate, but minimal road noise. Pet friendly with large grassy area. Good price for simple accommodations. Room was good, clean, bed was a little firmer than I prefer but comfortable. Quick and easy check in. Felt secure.

Cons: Lack of Outlets in good places. Outlets near bed were part of light overhead making it difficult to charge devices. Outlets along desk would have been nice and helpful.

Renovated but not quite there yet...

Pros: After being offered a 2nd floor room and explaining I had a heavy bag the girl was able to move me to another room on the 1st floor. The room I ended up in was nice with a couch and refrigerator. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was good. The motel is newly renovated so smells clean and the rooms were clean too.

Cons: There is no lift/elevator to the 2nd floor. The first room I was given had no couch or fridge. Luckily the girl changed my room for me. In the room the lights are not centred over the bed and they are too high to reach to turn off from within the bed. There is no power at the bed to charge your phone. I found an outlet behind the couch that I used. The fridge is not built into the cabinetry and is more an after thought. There was damage to the bath, a permanent mark on the vanity and the toilet seat was broken - perhaps these were overlooked in the reno? As well the air-conditioner was pretty noisy. None of these except the toilet seat and no lift affected my comfort. Just things to get right in the future.

Great place to stay.

Pros: The staff is wonderful. House keeping staff are so sweet and do their jobs really well.

Cons: There's no place to sit outside while waiting on my ride for work

Comfortable and quiet

Pros: Great location to the desk, door, it was super cold that day we stayed.

Cons: Front desk cleck was professional, but not very friendly.

Pros: How clean the room was you could smell it had been cleaned.

Cons: The bed was very uncomfortable

Pros: The staff was very friendly, rooms were clean and spacious. Area wasn’t bad as I expected. Liked being minutes from restaurants and stores

Pros: The rooms are nice the area isn't the best being in Springfield but always a nice place to stay

We were very pleased.

Pros: Location was great, TV worked, ice machine worked, heat worked, beds were comfortable, room was plenty big. Check-in/ check-out staff was great. We will probably return here same time next year. Thank you.

Cons: No continental breakfast. Not a coffee drinker, so we had to go elsewhere, adding to our overall cost.

The hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable.

Pros: Exceptional customer service. The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful, friendly and polite. This was the nicest hotel on the trip so far. I plan to leave a 5 star Google review.

Cons: nothing to dislike
