Wingate by Wyndham St. Clairsville/Wheeling

Pet friendly, clean and comfortable.

Pros: We were warmly greeted on our arrival. We were given our pet friendly room on the first floor. We did not use many of the amenities however they looked great. It was great to have a nice restaurant attached to the property. No need to go out and leave the dog. They did up take out for us to eat in the room. A good breakfast, with lots of options was supplied in the morning.

Cons: There could have been a larger area to walk the dog. All in all however there was enough room for the dog to do what he needed to do. I cannot think of anything else really.

Great stay

Pros: This facility used to be a Hampton Inn hotel. It’s been completely renovated and is nice and clean. Hot coffee is available upon check-in, and the breakfast was outstanding.

Excellent night’s sleep

Pros: The facility was just what we expected, but the kindness and all the smiles were a lovely surprise.

Worth it

Pros: As soon as I walked into the moment I left the staff was very friendly and greeted my family accordingly. My children woke up early and swim in a nice, clean warm, comfortable environment after swimming we were able to get breakfast and hit the road this facility exceeded all my expectations and the next time we pass through we will consider stopping just because of how friendly and clean and respectable to staff was

Pros: Great location for us en route from Philly to Indianapolis. Rooms were clean and smart, restaurant was good food and atmosphere, fabulous value for money.

Cons: Please stop with the plastic plates and cutlery for breakfast.

The location was perfect for us and the room met all expectations; the staff was pleasant.

Very pleased and happy. Cleanliness is everything

Pros: Breakfast was great. We went to wrestling tournament in Triadelphia and was just close enough. I didn't ask for a quiet room but it was perfect and not overpriced like everything else in this world is.

Wyndam/Wingate exceeded my expectations. A great resting place for weary travelers.

Pros: The hotel amenities, parking, restaurant, fitness center were convenient and easily accessible.

The hotel stay is very good and is a good bargain.

Pros: It was reasonably close to the highway. The room was comfortable and the free cookies at reception were a nice touch. Breakfast was very good, served by a hardworking staff.

Cons: It was a bit isolated, with not enough choices for dining. Also, the carpeting on the steps leading to the second floor was rather shabby looking. But the room was fine.
