Super 8 by Wyndham Gallipolis Pt Pleasant Area

A fun getaway weekend.

Pros: We enjoyed the location, the property was clean and the staff was very friendly and efficient. My wife and I enjoyed the light breakfast items, and as I enjoy coffee through the day, I was happy to find it was always available. We enjoyed using the hot tub, although the indoor pool was colder than I enjoy getting in. My wife is a school teacher and we had decided on a relaxing weekend before she went back to work. We had a great time .

Cons: The location of our room could have been in a quieter location for us. We were happy that it was on the ground floor, but the guests in the room directly over us were very noisy, apparently a child was jumping across their room. Also there was an outdoor guest area with a grill directly out our window on the back side of the building and people were out there quite a bit. I would have liked a room on the front side better.

My wife and myself had a very nice visit and plan to return soon.

Pros: The breakfast was fine. Not overpowering, but sufficient. My wife and I enjoyed it, as we usually only eat a light breakfast. The location was great, as we were visiting some family and friends in the area. The staff were very nice to us. The facilities were clean and well kept. The pool and hot tub area was very safe and sanitary. The room was clean and comfortable, and stocked with simple necessities. It was very quiet and restful and it was very obvious that the visitors were taken care of. We are already planning a return visit in August.

No fuss no muss but a helpful friendly staff and a clean hotel.

Pros: Two reasons we came back to the hotel- the super clean room and the helpful friendly staff.

Cons: There isn't anything to make us not want to come back. The wall colors aren't my taste but they are well painted and clean.

Pros: Close to where we wanted to see The pool was an added bonus for the grand sons

Fantastic stay!!!

Pros: The staff were fantastic and as soon as we stepped into the room, you could smell it was clean and fresh. Plenty of parking, even if you have a trailer (which we did). Also super convenient having a Bob Evan's right next door for some dinner or breakfast. Was a great stay and enjoyed it very much! (The rooms may look dated but they are very comfortable and nice)

Cons: The only tiny thing to come to mind is that the vending machines don't accept card, which is more a me-problem since I just do not carry any cash on me.

Pros: The facility was very clean, the towels and bedding were very clean as well. I appreciate those little things. Thank you.

Pros: Our first night was not good, but able to change room and was much better. Breakfast was ok and location was good

Cons: Handicap room was not very good, so standard room worked out very well.

It was an enjoyable experience. It was a classic hotel stay, nothing too fancy, but everything we needed.

Pros: It was in a nice quiet area. Close to the road, but still not too busy. It was clean and easy to load the car from. Room delivered as described. Friendly staff.

Cons: Not much to dislike. The blankets were a bit thin and wood floors can be a pro or con depending on the person.

Pretty awesome. Jet bath in room was a huge perk!

Pros: Room was large, clean, and it was very comfortable. It had a stale cigarette smell to it but it must have been from many guests ago as it was tolorable and you could tell they had tried to address it. I was very pleased overall and felt it was a safe and clean stay. I would stay there again.

Cons: Room had a slight cigarette oder from previous guests.

We had a lovely stay—we had everything we needed, it was quiet & comfortable

Pros: Everything was very clean; the staff were friendly and helpful

Cons: The WiFi connection was not great
