Unique lodging experience in Red River Gorge area

Pros: Location by the river. A unique experience that wasn’t a corporate hotel or a pop-up tent.

Cons: Air conditioning in bath house didn’t work properly.

Even better than advertised.

Pros: Tent was even better than described. Very nice fire pit area and hammocks right in the river. Fantastic view.

Pros: We really enjoyed camping here. The tents were extremely spacious, and the beds were so cozy. Bigger and comfier than most hotels. Even in the rainy weather, we felt very comfortable. We loved being right on the creek. It was so nice. The campsite is well maintained, and the bathhouse facilities were clean. The hammocks were a nice touch and there was plenty of firewood on hand.

Cons: Very nice, but not as secluded and peaceful as we had hoped. The tents are a little too close together, so screaming children and loud music kept us from truly relaxing. Also, folks not staying at the campsite would come into the area with off-roaders and kayaks, which was disruptive. I would recommend this place for groups and families, more than solo travelers or couples.

my fiancé and I had a great time, Teepee was nice, clean, so cozy. Perfect for a couples getaway.

Pros: It was unique, a cool experience. We definitely be back!

Cons: The teepees were a little bit too close, but we still had a wonderful time.

Pros: We loved everything about it. The location, the simplicity, a great get away. We got there right at check in and turned the air in went and got dinner and came back and it was nice and cool. We got there it was 97 degrees outside

Cons: The air didn’t work in the bath house

Teepee

Pros: The facilities were nice and clean. The bed was comfortable.. it was overall a super cool experience.

Cons: Trash was left laying around the deck, the blanket had a bunch of white fuzz all over it. It almost looked like animal fur.

So incredible!

Pros: It was a beautiful setting. The tipi's were beautiful, inside and out. Inside them was an incredibly clean and awesome room, much like a hotel room, with everything a hotel room would have except a bathroom. There was a fire pit outside with wood provided, a Barbecue grill, 4 camp chairs, and two hammocks for each of the 7 tipis in the campground. They were built up on these nice big decks, raised up of the ground to where the hammocks hung underneath them. There was a common bathroom that was very nice and clean, and a common picnic area with a grill and some outdoor games set up. It was crazy incredible. I will definitely be returning!

Cons: The only thing I didn't like was the toilet stalls had separate slide doors, but there were no handles and I got locked in and my husband had to help me get out.
