The best option in Madison

Pros: The renovation of the building is part of America’s industrial heritage. The rooms are spacious, with comfortable and clean beds, good hot-water pressure, and excellent climate control. The common areas are well designed, there is plenty of free parking, and the complimentary breakfast is reasonable, . The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the bar is worth visiting for both its selection and its service.

Cons: For what we were looking for, it met all our expectations. The only issue was the breakfast: there are plenty of sweet options, but not many savory ones, which might feel insufficient for a European guest, and I also missed having something greener, like tomato or something similar.

Historic town and hotel that will wow you. Loved our stay in this hidden gem.

Pros: Wow! This hotel is a gem. Converted cotton mill with loads of history that is really well converted to a comfortable stay with a good atmosphere. The view across the river is outstanding and it is in easy walk of all the sights and restaurants in excellent Madison. The staff were so helpful and courteous and worked hard to make sure we had a memorable stay.

Cons: The hotels only achilles heel is the breakfast which is served up like a staff canteen in a grand building. I would rather pay extra for table service and a chef. Fairfield can do better than this, surely. Car park can be full quickly but there is extra space around the back which is a bit more convenient to access.

Always love coming to Madison and staying at this hotel with riverfront view!

Beautiful hotel with a relaxing stay!

Pros: The hotel was beautiful & right on the river in Madison. It’s lovely, modern, and comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed my room where I could stream what I wanted on the tvs! I kept admiring the architecture in the room and building. A lot has been preserved historically.

Cons: Possibly have information in the room on the amenities. Such as bar, market, vending machines, fitness, etc. I was looking in the room, but found the info on the website after some searching

Pros: Beautiful hotel and extremely affordable. Unique architecture with spacious, charming rooms. Not like the usual chain hotel decor at all. Wonderful!

We were travelling with our adult children and we enjoyed our stay and room.

Pros: The property was fantastic. We were really happy with our room and the view of the river.

Pros: It was a nice view of the river from our room. The rooms were very spacious and very nice.

Cons: I would like more gluten-free breakfast options.

Great stay but pricey for having bad mattress.

Pros: Overall excellent, probably what was the best is how peaceful it was.

Cons: Bed mattress overall quality is poor. Mattress needs to have a boxspring under it for support. Beautiful room though except the view looking straight into another brick wall from adjacent building.

Valentine's Weekend at a historic hotel

Pros: Amazing location, amazing staff, beds were so comfy and the bar/restaurant was great! Great walking distance too to everything Madison had to offer, would 100% stay again!

Cons: Cant think of anything honestly, our stay was great.
