Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Bryan-Montpelier by IHG

Met our needs for 1 night stay

Pros: Needed a place for 1 night while traveling and this hotel was convenient off the interstate. Greeted right away at check-in and process was very quick. Room was clean and comfortable. They have done some updating to the hotel and it was decorated nicely.

Cons: Cleaning of bathtub

A comfortable place and taste of small town Ohio very close to the Turnpike.

Pros: Room was large and well appointed. The bathroom, including the sink, was separated from the main room by a door, which is especially good when you and your partner go to bed or wake up at different times. The breakfast was unusually good - lots of variety and plenty of alternatives to the sweets sweets sweets so typical of hotel breakfasts. The fitness center is small but has good equipment and the pool is nice. The staff member who checked us in had good advice on local restaurants.

Cons: It is not the fault of the hotel, but it is on a busy state highway and if you leave the premises it pretty much has to be in a car. Too bad, because what we saw of the the countryside and surrounding towns looked attractive. I am a runner and would like to have explored more on foot.

Pros: They treated they children exceptionally well. The pool was amazing and the want to go back

Pros: It was clean and quiet. No noise from neighbors. Very plentiful breakfast. Safe parking lot.

Pros: Holiday Inn ROCKS! 99% of the time, Holiday Inns are awesome! Perfect hotel after a long drive!!

Very clean and great location

Pros: This hotel was conveniently located off of I-90, and made it ideal for a stop on my drive out to Chicago. I was pleasantly surprised by the quick check in, the cleanliness of the hotel lobby area and my room. The fitness room was small but well equipped so I could get a good workout in after a day of driving. I had a quiet room that overlooked fields in the back. I felt safe and comfortable and I got a decent nights sleep. Breakfast in the morning was decent too.

Cons: The only drawback for this hotel is that if you want dinner, you're going to have to drive a bit down into Montpelier or Bryan as the options directly around the hotel are limited. I was not inclined to go out again, so I ended up eating the snacks I brought for dinner.

Pros: The location was right off the turnpike & not far from where we had to go. The staff was friendly & helpful & the hotel & room was exceptionally clean.

Cons: Everything was perfect for us.
