Residence Inn by Marriott Akron Fairlawn

Pros: We enjoyed our stay at the Residence Inn. It was a very clean and well-kept facility. The kids enjoyed the pool. It was wonderful to have a full-size refrigerator. Two suggestions- have more trashcans, have better lighting in the kitchen area. We would recommend this hotel and would stay there again. The staff was extremely helpful. They were very busy as the hotel was full, but always took time out to help or help solve a problem. The hotel was very quiet despite being very full.

Amazing but just wish the pool and hot tub was working.

Pros: I like everything about the property. Clean, good breakfast, friendly staff.

Cons: The only downfall is the pool and hot tub were down again. Last year the hot tub was down and this year both were down.

Pros: The property was extremely clean and comfortable and great looking. The staff was extremely nice and really helped a lot with a payment issue I was having.

Cons: Tv size could’ve been bigger than 42 inches. At least 50 inch as a minimum for ease of viewing.

Pros: All the staff members were very polite and nice. Easy check in. Clean rooms and good breakfast.

Cons: The only thing I was kinda disappointed about was that the hot tube was out of order, and that was one of the reasons I booked here. But other than that 5+ stars all around.

Pros: Breakfast was good. I wish it ran a little later. Our room was clean. Everyone we talked to was very nice. I will stay here again.

Love residence inns. So nice to have kitchenette and sofa to feel at home during stays.

Pros: Many offerings. However I don't like powdered scrambled eggs. Awful! Hard boiled would have beeb great!

Cons: Only guests allowed in pool. While I can understand that, as a single traveler it would have been nice to have my local friend join me for a swim.

Home away from home, only cleaner

Pros: Location, ambiance, amenities, room design and features, friendly staff

Cons: Nothing, except they ran out of cookies :)

More room and amenities than we needed made it feel like an extra special accommodation.

Pros: We didn't join in breakfast. We liked the size and amenities of the hotel and the friendliness of staff.

Cons: There were a few minor things in the room that weren't ideal. The garbage disposal wasn't working. A few lightbulbs were out. But the biggest issue was in the design of the shower; the door opened in so it was impossible to turn on the water without either getting all the way in (and blasting oneself with cold or hot water) or contorting to turn on the water (which then blasted out onto the floor.) The fan in the shower was also VERY LOUD, so loud it was extremely disruptive to the other person in the room (i.e. if that person was asleep).
