AC Hotel by Marriott Dayton

Perfect stop after a long day of travel.

Pros: We travel between Michigan and North Carolina to visit family. Dayton is our half-way point. This hotel will most certainly be our go-to hotel from now on. It was wonderful after a long day of driving to stay in such a comfortable hotel with a great restaurant.

Pros: the pillow cases were so heavily washed with bleach that it irritated my skin and I woke up with an abrasion on both cheeks Other than that, hotel & stay were great

Pros: The rooms are beautiful, the hotel in general is beautiful, and the rooftop bar is incredible!

Very nice stay for downtown Dayton

Pros: The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient if you want to walk to the Oregon Distric, and Pins Mechanical and Day Air Ballpark are right next door. The valet attendants were always quick. The gym had everything you'd expect at a hotel. The rooms were very clean and had lots of amenities you don't get everywhere, like blow dryers, a sound machine, and makeup remover wipes.

Cons: This hotel doesn't have a pool or hot tub. The room didn't have a microwave. The pillow options weren't great for me, personally. There were solid pillows that were too thick for my neck (being fairly short), and thinner pillows that went completely flat. The breakfast hours weren't posted anywhere in the room. Not a major problem, but would have been helpful. We did call down for the valet once (per their suggestion), but the car wasn't ready when we got downstairs. But they ran to get it very quickly once we got to the stand. So just a minor inconvenience. I would say the price is a bit much for pretty standard hotel rooms. You're paying for the location, essentially.

Amazing hotel!

Pros: Great, great, great hotel! Perfect 10! Dayton downtown was really cool to walk around. The hotel is in a really convenient location, it was just beautiful and impeccably clean. Tho you need to pay for breakfast, it was well worth it. There were many options. If traveling through Dayton, it is a must stay.

Pros: Hotel was very nice. The staff was very cordial. Location is ideal.

Cons: I booked though bookings.com. When I got to the hotel, they ran my credit card and charged me for another room. I was promised that the charge was just a hold and I wouldn’t be charged. My card was charged twice. When I called the hotel, they told me they would take care of it. They returned the less expensive charge from booking.com instead of the one that they should have. It’s now been a week in the refund is not even pending.

Excellent stay, and don't forget to try the restaurant

Pros: This place rocked. We were passing through town and loved the location, room, front desk service and especially the upstairs restaurant. Was not expecting such a good vibe in Dayton, but we loved it.

Cons: No issues at all.
