Altenbrauch Farm - Camping in the Hocking Hills

Great stay at Altenbrauch Farm

Pros: Great farm and very well kept. This is our second stay and this time it was even more fun as the farm had two furry puppies roaming around. Caleb was very courteous and gave us some privacy when dogs started being invasive.

Cons: Firewood was cut in thin slices and didn’t last long.

I would do this again !

Pros: This was a nice last minute location , the property owners were kind and very helpful . We enjoyed our stay by the fire and log !

Cons: I would suggest more outhouses / porta potties near sites

Perfection!

Pros: I liked this property to camp at. It was primitive and not crowded at all! Off the beaten path so not a lot of traffic at all. I think the only cars we saw were the fellow campers! Nice and quiet, perfect getaway from the electric buzz of society!

Cons: No water in the pond, but it was completely unavoidable, since it hadn’t rained in a while.

I can’t wait to come back with my family and even solo travels!

Pros: Cable was very friendly and he responded very quickly. He also answered my questions and even provided additional information for entertainment. The campsites are beautiful! I like how you have the options to be in the woods for more privacy and shade from the trees or a site closer to the road. But most importantly it was safe and I had phone service the whole time.

Cons: My gps didn’t pick up a signal until I reached the main road.

Pros: This is our third year camping here and it's even better than before. My wife and I love it here. It's so quiet and peaceful. The scenery is beautiful. We love the large campsites and were pleasantly surprised that it wasn't fully booked over the holiday weekend. They now have a shower and spigot by the bathroom. We'll definitely be back in the future.

Pros: The place is perfect for primitive camping. I liked that they had a sun shower and porta-potty available. And the various camping equipment that visitors can use for free and bring it back for others to use. Much like a community where we all help each other out if needed.

Cons: I liked it all. Not one thing I didn't like

Pros: Very clean and quiet location to set up a tent! Will definitely be back soon!
