The Kings Throne Inn and Guest House

I was travelling with my boyfriend for his 30th birthday and we stayed at the best place in Toledo.

Pros: The house was absolutely beautiful. The photos do not do it justice!! The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedroom was so cute. The host was wonderful and had very clear instructions on everything. If I am ever travelling in Toledo again I’ll be staying here again.

Barok of toch rococo?

Pros: Zeer karakteristiek huis met een heel bijzondere inrichting. Erg barok en overdadig. Veel indrukken en geurtjes, waar misschien niet iedereen van gecharmeerd is. Ik vond het wel wat hebben. Checkin was gemakkelijk en extra eenvoudig door de persoonlijke ontvangst. De kamer was ruim en het bed was uitmuntend. Er was voldoende voorraad in de keuken en ik voelde me voldoende op mijn gemak om hiervan en van de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes gebruik te maken. Voor het ontbijt geldt hetzelfde.

Cons: Bij het boeken had ik zelf beter op moeten letten, want ik had een gedeelde badkamer. Dit bleek echter geen enkel probleem te vormen. Je kunt als eigenaar van een gasthuis nog zo je best doen, sommige zaken liggen buiten je invloed. De gasten in de kamer naast de mijne vonden het blijkbaar normaal om gewoon te gaan praten wanneer ze om drie uur 's nachts terug komen in hun kamer. De muren houden geen geluid tegen, dus ik heb een substantieel deel van de nacht wakker gelegen. Jammer.

Comfortable place with great parking and nice common areas, including a kitchen, at your disposal.

Pros: A comfortable bed and a large room with an air conditioner and fan, much needed on a hot August day. The bathroom is clean, and I appreciated the attention to comfort, with various toiletries available in case anything was forgotten.

Cons: This bed & breakfast is a make-your-own breakfast-style accommodation. There was dry cereal and bread for toasting, and eggs and pancake mix available if you want to make your own, but I would have appreciated something like fresh fruit, granola bars, and/or yogurt so we could grab something more quickly.

We had an amazing stay at the Kings Throne Inn. We will absolutely be back if ever in Toledo again. Don’t hesitate, book

Pros: We loved the location, the historical aspects, the bed was so comfortable. The host was amazing, the coffee bar they had was superb! We especially loved the backyard seating area and started every morning with our coffee there and ended every evening sitting outside.

Cons: There is nothing to not like about this Inn, it’s exceptional!

Pros: Landon was such a responsive host and he tried to make things easy for me after a long day of driving. The experience made me want to return to Toledo in the future to further explore Toledo. I would definitely stay at King’s Throne if I come back.

Pros: This is the only place one needs to stay in Toledo! The Kings Inn is an excellent, beautifully kept historic building that is extremely comfortable for guests to be able to relax and feel at home. Landon and partner extended such supremely wonderful hospitality to us and I can’t wait to return. We were also very happy and fortunate to have the opportunity to meet their wonderfully sweet puppers, Luna. The front porch is perfect for lounging on to enjoy the sunset and the backyard is great for relaxing in the afternoon sunshine. The Inn is walking distance to yummy local restaurants, the art museum, amazing historical buildings and much more.

Cons: Nothing. The property is absolutely perfect. I hated leaving!

Pros: Historically wealthy interior, fully loaded kitchen, calm and quiet rooms.

It was a lovely overnight stay. We would stay again.

Pros: It was a beautiful old home. It was set-up very cute. It was nice after a long drive my friend and I could help ourselves to a cup of tea.

Cons: The area isn’t the greatest. It was cold in the bathroom. There were only plain bagels available.
