Avenwood Cabins

Don't 2nd guess this 1!

Pros: The total experience at Avenwood was amazing. Quiet and peaceful. Found my time at the cabin to be relaxing and very comfortable.

Cons: The directions to check in was a little fuzzy. But amazingly simple. Check your receipt for the number to check in, as there was no office I seen. I checked in/out by phone. But not a dislike. Just new to me.

Beautiful, clean, quiet, comfortable cabin for few days of relaxation.

Pros: We loved the quaint, cozy cabin; the beautiful scenery; and the kitchen & bath areas.

Cons: I wish there was one more comfy chair and ottoman. The loveseat was a bit overstuffed for me. This is a minor issue because everything else was great.

We wanted a little get away from life just to relax, and mentally reset from everything, it was so peaceful at the cabin

Pros: Great peaceful location, easy to get to, glad they notified us about the gps saying you’ve arrived when you need to keep driving a bit though! Still easy to get to

Cons: Nothing bad to say at all about the property, we loved it

It was exactly what we needed to get away for the night for our anniversary. We would definitely come back!

Pros: The hot tub was nice after hiking. We had an amazing time. WiFi worked great which was awesome because cell service is spotty.

Cons: The shower leaks a little because the door doesn’t shut all the way so just be careful to put a towel down.

Lovely weekend getaway

Pros: The cabin was clean and welcoming. Only a few things that weren't perfect. The hottub controls were squriting out the knobs when turned on, so we just didn't use thoes jets. The shower door wouldn't stay closed and there is nowhere to put your toiletries while showering, but besides thoes few annoyances the weekend was perfect, cant wait to come back.

We wanted to get away into nature and have some peace and quiet. And that is exactly what we got.

Pros: We loved The Buckeye Hut. Loved the decor,the wood bed, table, chairs and coat rack. Hot tub was great.

Cons: The couch wasn’t very comfortable and hard to get out of and the direct tv wasn’t working.

We enjoyed our stay in Hot Springd Village and will be returning.

Pros: Great location, the room was nice with a great deck looking out onto a wooded area. Very quiet. We would definitely book again.

Pros: It was very comfortable and perfect for 2 people! Had everything we needed for a romantic getaway.

We were in Eagles nest cabin. May try other cabin if we ever return.

Pros: The quietness and rustic appearance. Hot tub nice!

Cons: Gas fireplace not functional, tiny bathroom, no counter space for curler, etc.

Pros: The private back porch with the hot tub. The view alone was amazing, so peaceful. It literally felt like you were the only ones there!

Cons: We reached out about firewood within our cabin (you had to contact for dry wood, couldn't use wood outside for the fireplace inside). We reached out the night we arrived and the following morning with no response. We decided to cut our losses since the rest of the cabin and amenities there were enough to make our stay still wonderful!
