Red Roof Inn Cleveland - Medina

A good quick stop for our family near Cleveland

Pros: Convenient location which was also quite quiet - easy to check in and check out and the room was clean with all the facilities we required. We needed two rooms and were give two next to each other.

Cons: Tried the drive through check-in (never done it before) - was probably easier to get out of the car and walk to the desk. Although there are good restaurant choices nearby - basics like coffee / water vending machines would have been useful.

Pros: I did not have the breakfast, so no opinion. The location was great, not off the interstate by much at all. Would stay again if the need comes up.

Cons: All was good, no problems at all.

Pros: Great location for visiting friends in both the Akron and Medina County areas.

Pros: Staff meeting was very nice, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Cons: The towels were a bit thin.

Cons: The rooms next to us were smoking right out front of our door. I had my kids with me & both has asthma. People should be required to walk away from the facility to smoke

Pros: I loved how deep the bathtub was and how the water stayed plenty hot filling the tub. I liked the soap and the facial soap. I liked the motion detection lights because at night I can't stand fumbling around for a switch in the dark. I liked the over the bed lights and the 4 outlets for charging my phone. I liked the refrigerator and freezer unit. I liked the nicrowave. I liked the 3 pillows. I liked how I could adjust the temperature of the room.

Cons: I didn't like the 1 main light being so far in one corner of the room. I didn't like this light because it kept dimming and brightening randomly. Actually, there may have been a timed pattern to these actions. i am no electrician. , I was trying to keep it off because of how dark it made the room upon the dimmening times. I didn't like the headboard sticking out so far and throwing the overhead board lights in strange lighting habits when I was trying to read. I didn't like the fact i couldn't set the TV on a timer for sleeping. The room didn't have conditioner or lotion. The room was very hot upon arrival. There was nothing to hold onto when getting into shower and tub. There was no diety clothes bag.

Pros: Quiet, no traffic noice even though it was right off the highway

Cons: No breakfast

Pros: Easy check in, it was a drive thru! Didn't even have to get out of the car!

So good for such a reasonable price.

Pros: The parking lot was cleared of snow. It was big enough for the big truck we had. They accommodated our pets. The room was clean and smelled good. The staff member at the front desk was polite.

Cons: After a 5-hour drive in heavy snow, I would have liked to use a restroom in the lobby. Waiting for the room was agony. Thankfully it wasn't a messy tragedy. The drive-up check in is inaccessible to regular size pick-up trucks. I think that part should be discontinued and signage removed.

Large size rooms and good value for the money. Clean overall, but not new or fancy.

Pros: Large size room. Not the newest or most modern hotel, but felt clean overall. And ground floor with parking directly in front was a plus. Shower seemed pretty good.

Cons: Toilet seat moved around.
