Great value and accommodations in the interesting town of Point Pleasant!

Comfort and luxury with the best company

Pros: Everything was more than we could ask for. The hosts were nothing short of amazing. If I could give them a higher score I would. They provided us with a beautiful room that was comfier and cleaner than any Hilton I've been in, with a charcuterie and chocolate waiting for us. They were very accommodating with our arrival time due to car trouble and made sure we were well taken care of. We wanted for nothing during our stay and will absolutely be coming back.

Pros: We stayed two nights at Main Oak Manor. This beautiful, historic mansion has been upgraded with modern amenities for a charming spot to rest, refresh and recharge after a day’s tourist activities (we attended Bob Evans Farm Festival). Each guest room is furnished in period antiques and is tastefully and whimsically decorated in a different theme. Charlie and Vicki were excellent hosts, providing individual attention and thoughtful (and delicious) personal touches to make our stay memorable. Plus it’s an easy walk down Main Street to the many downtown Point Pleasant shops and restaurants. Consider Main Oak Manor for a unique and surprisingly affordable lodging experience in the Gallipolis area.

Pros: We absolutely loved getting to stay with Vicki and Charles. The meals and snacks were incredible. The room was so comfortable and the house was walking distance from downtown. It was a pleasure staying and getting to know them. We look forward to visiting again!

Just Like Home

Pros: The house was beautiful! The hosts created such a welcoming environment, the house had a cozy feel and we had the absolute delight of arriving to fresh baked brownies. I would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely historical home

Pros: The home itself is beautiful and it's great getting to stay in a historic home. Our hosts were extremely accommodating and really did make us feel like we were at home. In our room was a little snack plate with fresh fruit and meats and cheeses along with some local Mr.Bees chips and dip which were a welcome treat after a long day's drive. We were also able to enjoy the living room in the evening after we had explored the mothman museum and other local shops. Vicki brought us some movie snacks that included some homemade chocolate chip bundt cake! So many personal touches and great conversations!
