Cozy spot nice location

Pros: Was an interesting place - near the train station the locomotive and the river park. Was an easy walk to downtown area, for restaurants, Main Street etc

Cons: Convenient, cozy spot, decorated with historical stuff re: train history( CHESSEY)

The nicest place to stay that I found in Huntington with a $20 gift card for breakfast nearby.

Pros: It was clean and smelled fresh. I loved the spaciousness of the rooms and nicely decorated like a home. It was sunny and bright with high ceilings. Bathroom was nice with good water pressure. Plenty of blankets, pillows and towels. Air condition was on for us. Directions easy to follow and get in with contactless entry. They made the most of the kitchenette area but could really use a larger fridge. River view through two gaps in the flood wall. They provided nice amenities for things you might need or might have forgotten (hair dryer, toothbrush etc.). It was very close to the shops and restaurants you want to visit.

Cons: The area was totally isolated after 5 p.m. The kitchen needs a larger fridge instead of a 3 cubic foot one. We couldn't find sheets for the sofa bed. These were small things that didn't take away from our stay.

Pros: Super cute and tons of personal touches! We loved it so much!

Highly recommend if you need a place to stay in Huntington.

Pros: The vibe is marvelous, with old photos, train paintings, memorabilia, with every convenience. Comfortable and just beautiful. Breakfast at Butter It Up delicious.

The Chessie Room is a fun, unique and comfortable option to unmemorable hotel stays in Huntington.

Pros: What a fun get-away in the heart of Huntington. We typically stay at a hotel but saw the Chessie Room option and loved it. Quaint 2nd floor suite that was perfect for our visit to Marshall University. Love the breakfast at Butter Up too!

Cons: Only knit picky item is that the show curtain was situated too close to the tub so that it touched you while you showered. Such a small item that barely warrants mentioning.

Best place ever in every way!!!

Pros: Absolutely everything! It says Chessie Room but this was really a small apartment in a historical building. It was decorated beautifully with period pieces. Everything we needed was provided especially with the small kitchenette. It was cozy yet spacious with beautiful windows from floor to ceiling. Located at the Visitor Center at Heritage Station everything we wanted and needed to do was within blocks. If We are ever in Huntington again we will never stay anywhere else. Stephen our host was wonderful!!!

Pros: This is one of the most interesting places we have ever stayed. The apartment was so cozy and inviting. There was so much history and the view was lovely. So many windows! When I was in college at Marshall, the train station was a restaurant. Now it has changed into shops of all sorts! We really enjoyed our stay.

Cons: There isn't much that we didn't love about this place. If I must say something I guess it would be the breakfast part of this B&B. We did not mind going down the street for our breakfast but the gift card that was left in the apartment didn't quite cover breakfast for 2.

Pros: The unique location is what we liked the most. Loved having a sitting room separate from the bedroom. Parking was easy.
