Pros: Great all around. A home away from home. Spacious suite, excellent breakfast. Very friendly owners. I keep coming back.

excellent location in a peculiar style

Pros: The accommodation is in a beautiful Victorian-style house. All the interiors and amenities are in a vintage style, but everything is very well preserved and functional. Leslie is a very friendly, helpful and cheerful person, which makes the accommodation even better. The location is excellent and there are several food options nearby. I traveled to Dayton solely to visit the United States Air Force Museum.

Cons: Nothing that really affects the stay or its evaluation, but the outside of the house needs a complete restoration to further improve the experience.

Pros: The lady who runs the place is very nice and super helpful and I absolutely loved that they had wine tastings, which was super nice after a long drive. The living room is very cozy and the breakfast is basic but nice and included cereal , coffee, muffins, toast. The location is absolutely fantastic and you don't need to drive anywhere and we went to the Irish pub down the street for dinner which was super good. We had the whole upstairs part which was nice and spacious with plenty of room and it was clean. The bed was very comfortable and it was so cute that they put little soaps and things in the bathroom was good overall.

Cons: Unfortunately, the room we stayed at was not good for my allergies. It's a very old building and I think the room needs a paint and some refreshing as the walls are a bit old and musty and for me I was not able to sleep next to the wall. There's a lot of dust on the windowsill so if you have allergies this could be an issue. For the price, I would really expect the walls to be painted and fresh otherwise they're very musty.

Great stay all around. We will look for another chance to stay here again.

Pros: Very handsome, comfortable, welcoming, relaxing place. Leslie and Jeff were great hosts, very friendly and outgoing. That the place doubles as a wine tasting place is fun. The house is obviously built solid and did a pretty good job of keeping the noise out from the street. Loved using the turntable and spinning a few old LPs while reading in the living room.

Cons: Stairs were a little steep going up to the room---when I'm older that's going to be a problem for me!

We enjoyed our stay. The location was wonderful. We'll be back on our next trip to Dayton.

Pros: Location was fantastic. We walked most of the time. Great restaurants in the area. The inn was wonderful. It was an easy check in even though we arrived late evening. We appreciated the coffee maker (and coffee supplies) in our kitchen area and the continental breakfast in the common area was nice.

Cons: I can't think of anything that would have improved our stay. Leslie was very responsive when we requested additional supplies.

Would recommend this hotel to all travellers, a truly wonderful place.

Pros: This hotel is an absolute gem. Built in the 1800s it oozes old world charm and is very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast food was excellent - fresh fruit, beautiful dairy and bread products. Choice of cereals and an array of coffee or tea to choose from. We had stayed in budget hotels prior to this on our trip. This was slightly more expensive but massive value for money. Staying here was a wonderful travel experience.

Cons: No complaints at all.

Pros: the continental breakfast is good. You can have breakfast any time. The fridge has milk, apples, soft drinks, yogurt, … You can have coffee (capsules, american not espresso). the bathroom is big!

Cons: electric outlets are rare.

The most magical place to stay in Dayton!

Pros: Beautiful location that has a deep history. Amazing facilities. The owner was extremely kind and hospitable, and made sure we had everything we needed!

Pros: The hostess was wonderful. The woodworking and personal touches were something to be admired. Being in the historic district offered additional entertainment and ambiance. Was very relaxing. A thorough list of recommendations was left in our suite. I would return here and suggest that others book here as well. It won't disappoint.

What a quiet, cozy, refreshing place to retreat to in a vibrant city!

Pros: We loved the building! Our room was lovely, very cozy while having incredible wood carvings and arches and high ceilings! It’s such a nice, historic space and it’s well kept!

Cons: The breakfast is continental, which is not a problem, I just would have loved for that to be clearer before arrival.
