Carter #3 Two bedroom unit near Xavier Downtown

Pros: It was a comfortable and restful stay for us in Carter House. Seth was a gracious host and was quick to respond to our inquiries.

In town for a concert. Four of us perfect with an additional half bath!

Pros: Very clean and comfortable beds! Each room had its own climate control! King and Queen bedrooms!

The perfect place to stay. Cozy, comfortable and very homey. Would stay again just to get out of the house!

Pros: Had everything we needed. Great location, and quick response time when needed.

Cons: Wet washcloth left in upstairs bathroom. Front door was unlocked when entering.

Pros: We came to Cincinnati this weekend to attend a memorial service. Having 2 bedrooms was a great way to accommodate our family. A great value compared to downtown hotels!

Cons: This is in a quiet residential neighborhood. Plan on needing a car or using Uber.

Pros: Great location to the interstate and near downtown Cincinnati; about 10 min. The home was very clean and appreciated the 1/2 bath on the first floor. I fell in love with shower head. It was a duo shower head with a portable arm, and i could adjust the water pressure. Great accommodation. There are individual air conditioning units in each bedroom and the living room. Ceiling fans were a plus. It stayed very cool to cold helping to combat the summer heat! The bedrooms were large, and the beds were so freaking comfortable I almost forgot where I was. There is plenty of storage for clothes and luggage.

Cons: The couch was dirty and dated. I could actually see a footprint impression in one of the pillows. The stairway light didn't work, so we had to take out time maneuvering up the stairs and to the right rooms. I wish the bathrooms had fans and/or air vents in them. There was a window in each bathroom but no screens. So if you open it, you worry about birds and bugs flying in. The steam kept it toasty, so during summer, you step out of the shower sweating. The bathrooms can get quite humid, but the shower heads make up for it. The upstairs bathroom sink drains very, very slowly. I couldn't brush my teeth or complete my face care routine properly because I had to wait a few minutes each time I let the water run, for it to drain. If you are planning to cook, bring plenty of bottled water. This has nothing to do with the owner, but the water tastes horrible, and cooking with it will have your food tasting just as bad. We had to throw our food out.
