The Goodale Retreat - 2 BR 2Bath

A Beautiful and Spacious Retreat

Pros: The Accomodations were Spacious and The Hospitality Team is Out of This World and are at Your Beckon Call. The Facilities and Supplies were more than accommodating. Also, The Walk to the Convention Center( Reason for My Stay) was Marvelous, Once I mastered the Route. Additionally, The Smaller Bed in the Second Bedroom is Extremely Comfortable. The Appliances are Top Notch and cooking Ware is amply Supplied.

Cons: The ONLY Things that caught My Attention was a Minor issue and a Major one. My First Morning after arriving, I was preparing an Outfit(Military Convention) when I looked down at the Carpet( Living Room area) and saw a rather large Dirty Gum stretched and wrapped into the Carpet. It definitely Caught Me by Surprise, because Everything Else was Spotless. The Big ISSUE was you have NO Idea What Neighbors or Visitors You may get in the Upstairs Dwelling. The Same Night after discovering the Gum, A Group arrived later in the Evening (around 6:30) and presented a Loud extended Commotion Upon their Arrival. I Chopped it up as bringing Luggage in. However the hurried footsteps Up and Down the Stairs became intermittent, about Every 20 Minutes. Then Just Before 9, ALL hell broke Loose. Blasting Music from the Floor Above and Continuous Stomping, Nails are Something dropping frequently and Unexplained Banging throughout..It finally ceased at 11:40 but at 2:15 till after 5, I was awakened with Excessive banging, dragging of Furniture, Stomping and Other Bangs Constantly without Cease. As a Former Combat Soldier, I managed to Keep my Composure It was DEFINITELY The Night from Hell, But the Next 3 Nights following were Very Peaceful. I will Have to Say, That particular One Night put a Damper into My Entire Stay.
